Steven Yuen To Join Marvel Cinematic Universe In ‘Thunderbolts’

Steven Yuen is the next actor to join the Marvel Cinematic Universe after agreeing to appear in Thunderbolts. The Walking Dead star will be joining Florence Pugh, Sebastian Stan, Julia Louis-Dreyfuss, and David Harbour, who are already signed to appear in the project.

Jake Schreier is set to direct Thunderbolts, which is expected to start shooting this June and is set to hit theatres in July of 2024. The script is set to be written by Black Widow writer, Eric Pearson. Although the script is kept a secret, the comic on which the movie is based has several MCU villains coming together to solve a government mission.

Thunderbolts will be the last movie in MCU’s Phase Five. Starting with Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania, the other movies coming out include Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, The Marvels, Captain America: New World Order, Blade, and Deadpool 3. Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantimania recently opened to mixed reviews and record decline after the first weekend at the box office.

Steven Yuen was recently seen in Jordan Peele’s Nope and is set to work with Parasite director, Bong Joon Ho, and Robert Pattinson on a sci-fi movie titled Mickey 17.
