‘Spider-Man: Brand New Day’ Filming Experience Shared By Zendaya

Later this summer, Spider-Man is finally swinging back onto the big screen once again. Before it can debut, one of the big returning stars of the film has even come out to comment on how enjoyable the experience was, and how much she liked coming back to the series.

After Doctor Strange casts a spell to save the multiverse, Brand New Day finds Peter Parker struggling to pull his life together in a world that has no memory of him. While attempting to reconnect with his former girlfriend, MJ, Peter is suddenly faced with the frightening uncertainty of his own powers, which seem to be undergoing a bizarre change. Going up against criminal gangs in New York, Peter’s next battle will be his hardest yet, as he races against time to save himself.

With Tom Holland coming back to play the wall crawler, Zendaya is back to portray MJ. Hollywood Reporter noted that the two first met when they worked together on Spider-Man: Homecoming way back in 2017, and since then grew to be quite close. The two eventually became a couple, and was rumored to have tied the knot earlier this year, but Zendaya would not confirm that.

Zendaya spoke extensively with Elle recently about her upcoming projects, one of them being Brand New Day. She explained to them just how much she enjoyed going back to work so closely with Holland, and what the experience was like for her.

“We bring our dogs to work; it’s like a family affair. We grew up on those movies! It’s like coming home,” she said.
