For those who need a refresher, Paper Towns is an adaptation of the John Green YA novel centering on Quentin Jacobsen, a high school senior who goes on the greatest adventure of his life when his neighbor and crush, Margo Roth Spiegelman, suddenly disappears. USA Today has treated Green fans to a host of new movie stills prior to the trailer’s premiere on Thursday’s Today show. Stars Nat Wolff (The Fault in Our Stars) and Cara Delevingne (Anna Karenina) have also been active on social media today, releasing their own exclusive sneak peeks for the Jake Schreier (Robot & Frank)-directed film.
The first – and most exciting – is a preview of the film’s trailer that Delevingne posted on her Instagram account. The teaser combines stylistic elements from films like The Perks of Being a Wallflower and The Spectacular Now, playing on the fast-paced immediacy of the teenage experience.
Below is the still posted by Wolff on his and his brother/band partner’s Twitter account.
