Steve Asbell, head of 20th century studios, revealed a year ago that two Predator movies will be released in 2025. The first, which has the same director as Prey, stars Elle Fanning and is titled Predator Badlands. The second Predator movie has recently been announced as Predator: Killer of Killers. The trailer was released today, and the film currently has a release date of June 6th on Hulu and Disney+. The logline from the trailer says,
[An] anthology story [that] follows three of the fiercest warriors in human history: a Viking raider guiding her young son on a bloody quest for revenge; a ninja in feudal Japan who turns against his Samurai brother in a brutal battle for succession; and a WWII pilot who takes to the sky to investigate an otherworldly threat to the Allied cause. But while all these warriors are killers in their own right, they are merely prey for their new opponent — the ultimate killer of killers.
Dan Trachtenberg will be directing the upcoming Predator film with a script he co-wrote with Micho Robert Rutare. Predator Badlands will be released later this year on November 7th and recently had its first tease at CinemaCon. The trailer for Predator: Killer of Killers is available on YouTube:
