A new trailer has been released for Gore Verbinski’s Sci-fi action/comedy Good Luck, Have Fun, Don’t Die. The film follows a man, played by Sam Rockwell, who holds everyone in a diner hostage, claiming that he’s from the future, and that everyone in the diner serves a crucial role in preventing a tech-born apocalypse. “There’s a perfect configuration of people in this diner that can save humanity,” says Sam Rockwell’s character in the trailer.

This new trailer provides a more detailed glimpse into the film’s plot, which appears to feature strong anti-tech and anti-AI themes. This new trailer also offers more glimpses of surrealist imagery that Gore Verbinski’s films are best known for, such as a battle with robotic toys and the hoof of some giant creature. We also see that the movie will be rated R, with moments of profanity and violence, including blood and gore.

Good Luck, Have Fun, Don’t Die will be Gore Verbinski’s first film in nearly a decade, releasing almost 10 years to the day since his previous film, the psychological horror film A Cure For Wellness, released in 2016. In addition to Sam Rockwell, the film features an ensemble cast that includes Juno Temple, Michael Peña, Haley Lu Richardson, Zazie Beetz, Asim Chaudhry, and Tom Taylor. In addition to the new trailer, a new poster for the film was also released. It features a striking design, with wires attached to Sam Rockwell’s character’s head, and the names of the film’s ensemble cast entwined in the wires.

Good Luck, Have Fun, Don’t Die will be released in theaters on February 13th.
