The DC Universe is setting the stage for their newest film, with just a matter of months until it hits the big screen. But before audiences can finally see Supergirl, a new and exclusive promotional image has been shown off for it. 

Supergirl follows the young Kara Zor-El on the eve of her birthday. Although she wants nothing more than to celebrate irresponsibly, the meeting of a young ally puts her on a path to become the hero she was destined to be, while also making peace with the destruction of her planet.  

House Of The Dragon star Milly Alcock will be leading the film as Supergirl, picking up from her small cameo in last year’s Superman, the kickstart to the new DC Universe. Ahead of the films debut, Screenrant was able to release a new still from Supergirl, showcasing the character in a high-stakes brawl. 

The still itself lines up with what’s been showing off in the trailers so far, right down to the bright and vibrant colors that light the location. While Alcock’s Supergirl is the focus of the frame, it’s unclear just who she’s going head to head with. Both main villains for the film have already been shown off in trailers, however: Krem of the Yellow Hills, played by Matthias Schoenaerts, and Lobo, played by Jason Momoa. 

Supergirl hits theaters June 26th.
