Scoops on DC’s ‘Justice League’ and ‘Suicide Squad’

Superman and villain Brainiac

Fans of the DC Comics universe will rejoice at these scoops broken by Latino Review blogger El Mayimbe over the weekend about two new DC movies that will hit theaters following the highly anticipated Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice in 2016. Concepts for both Justice League and Suicide Squad were discussed in detail.

El Mayimbe has found news on the cast of characters set to be introduced following the Batman v Superman movie, who will be partly set up at the end of that movie. It seems that the introduction of Brainiac – a major villian in the Superman comic book arc – will come at the end of the 2016 movie, as a set-up for the upcoming Justice League movie, which was covered previously by mxdwn.

El Mayimbe broke two huge DC scoops this weekend, and his second was for an upcoming Suicide Squad movie, revolving around the team of seven supervillains-turned-black-ops headed by Amanda Waller. The news revealed the seven members of the Squad that will be featured in the movie: Blockbuster, the strongman; Multiplex, the human replicator; Jaculi, the speedster; Mindboggler, the female telepath; Harkness, weapons specialist; Vixen, woman with animal abilities; and the leader of the Suicide Squad, Deadshot.

Keep checking back at mxdwn for more news on these movies and the rest of the DC Comics universe as it develops.
