Black Panther 3 could be in production soon, by the looks of it, as Ryan Coogler gives a promising update to fans. 

While the Marvel Multiverse Saga is coming to its end, with Marvel Studios focusing on the remaining Phase 6 media projects, Phase 7 could see the return of another beloved Marvel franchise. During Coogler’s appearance at Deadline Contenders, the filmmaker was asked whether the third Black Panther feature would be his next project. Coogler, keeping shy, responded, 

If it were anyone but you, I would say I could neither confirm nor deny. But we’re working on it, we’re working on it hard.

Coogler followed that up by confirming it would be the next movie he would be working on. Besides that huge update, other confirmations surrounding the third installment have been sparse. However, Black Panther 3 will see Denzel Washington enter the Marvel universe, as the actor has confirmed that Coogler is working on a role for the upcoming feature.

Black Panther 3 does not have a set release or production date at this time.
