‘Rudy’ Returns to Theaters to Celebrate its 25th Anniversary

No matter what you think, anything is possible as long as you put your mind to it. The story of Rudy Ruettiger is an inspiring one. A young man dreams to play for the Fighting Irish Notre Dame Football Team despite his small stature. His perseverance and sheer will-power allowed his dream to come true. Rudy has been named among the 25 Greatest Sports Films and now Fathom Events is bringing this film back to big screen.

The cast includes Sean Astin, the late Ned Beatty, Charles Dutton, Jon Favreau, and Lili Taylor. From the team that brought us Hoosiers comes Rudy. Don’t miss your chance to catch this movie when it hits theaters on August 28 and September 2. Don’t wait, reserve your seats and remember what dreams are all about!

Rick Rice: A kid at heart who has loved watching movies from a very young age. Credit must be given to Siskel and Ebert whose film reviews educated me on the world of film inspired me to become a writer myself. I love to read books that range from various topics, copious amounts of research is something that excites me and of course sitting in a movie theater is a highlight of my life. When I'm not watching movies or reading I enjoy listening to foreign music and working hard on finishing my short stories. Currently working on my degree in English with a plan to enroll into Film School with the dream of becoming a screenwriter and director.
