Romantic Drama ‘2 Hearts’ Picked Up By Freestyle Releasing

Independent film distributor Freestyle Releasing has acquired romantic drama 2 Hearts, which is set for a theatrical release on September 11, 2020.

The films stars Jacob Elordi who is known for his roles in Euphoria and The Kissing Booth, as well as Tiera Skovbye (Riverdale), Adan Canto (Designated Survivor, Blood & Oil) and Radha Mitchell (Phone Booth, Visitors).

2 Hearts follows two couples who meet by a complete chance of destiny and fate. Based on the true stories of Jorge and Leslie Bacardi, part of the Bacardi Rum family and company, and Christopher Gregory, the feature film focuses on the journeys of these two couples and the far-reaching effects acts of kindness in the face of struggle and challenges can have.

2 Hearts is the movie medicine we all need right now. When my brother and I met the real Jorge and Leslie and heard their amazing story, I was awestruck. Their love and their journey touched me deeply and I had to share this story because this is fundamentally about connection, love and destiny,” director Lance Hool said. Hool also shares producer credits with his brother Conrad Hool.

The screenplay was written by Veronica Hool and Robbin U. Russin. Aaron Au, Shawn Williamson and Veronica Hool serve as the executive producers.
