At the age of 70, Forrest Tucker has managed to escape from San Quentin, but his job isn’t done yet as he manages to politely find every way to continue his schemes while falling for a woman in the process.
Based mostly on the true story of Tucker, the film stars Award winning actor, Robert Redford as well as Cissy Spacek, a woman whom it appears from the trailer as to be his love interest. The film also co-stars Elisabeth Moss (The Handmaid’s Tale), Oscar winner Casey Affleck (Ocean’s 11), and Danny Glover (Lethal Weapon).
The film is directed by David Lowery, most known for his live-action Pete’s Dragon and last year’s quiet indie Ghost Story.
The Old Man & The Gun is set to come out in theaters October 5, 2018, but check out the trailer below.
