Rob Delaney Joins Cast Of ‘Untitled Roger Ailes Project’

Rob Delaney, who starred as Peter in Deadpool 2 and co-created and wrote the hit Amazon show Catastrophe, has joined on to star in the Untitled Roger Ailes film directed by Jay Roach (Trumbo). Deadline first reported the news. The film’s script is being written by Charles Randolph who most recently wrote the screenplay for the creative critical hit, The Big Short. The film revolves around the women that rose up against Ailes and the toxic male culture that he led while working at Fox News.

The movie rounds out a stellar cast including John Lithgow as Roger Ailes, Charlize Theron as Megyn Kelly, Nicole Kidman as Gretchen Carlson, Margot Robbie as producer Kayla Pospisil, Allison Janney as the trailblazing feminist lawyer Susan Estrich, Ashley Greene as Abby Huntsman, who was the former host of Fox & Friends, as well as Kate McKinnon and so many more.

With a fantastic cast and Randolph hopefully able to create a script as sharp, funny and fast paced as he did with The Big Short, the Untitled Roger Ailes film might be a memorable, shocking and powerful true story that will be remembered for years to come.

Keidan Chavez: I am an undergraduate attending Whittier College majoring in screen writing and journalism. I love to watch movies, play Red Dead Redemption 2 and read whenever I get the chance. I will watch anything related to Wright, Tarantino, The Coen Brothers or Nolan. I will also play anything made by Naughty Dog or Rockstar Games. I love being able to experience great stories, especially when I am able to share that experience with others. I also love learning about movies and sharing that knowledge to those that are just as passionate.
