The upcoming film RIP has added two new stars to its lineup. Both Sasha Calle and Teyana Taylor have signed on to join the film.
So far, the only two other confirmed cast members on the film are Matt Damon and Ben Affleck. Both pull double duty as producers as well, with Joe Carnahan writing and directing the film for Netflix.
Calle’s resume includes mostly short films and TV mini-series up until she broke into the big screen with 2023’s The Flash. In the film, Calle played Kara Zor-El, otherwise known as Supergirl, starring alongside Ezra Miller as The Flash himself, and Michael Keaton donning the cowl once more as Batman.
Since then, she’s had other roles in feature films, such as In The Summers and On Swift Horses. The latter of the two saw her play opposite Daisy Edgar-Jones, Jacob Elordi, Will Poulter, and Diego Calva.
While established as an actress, Taylor also has built a name for herself in the music industry. Her film roles reflect this, as well, with a leading role in 2023’s A Thousand And One, while also appearing in last years Renaissance: A Film By Beyoncé.
Deadline reports that the film itself sees a duo of cops that uncover millions of dollars in a house, but as rumors of the total begin to spread, trust begins to dwindle, as the cops begin to lose sight of who’s an ally or not.
