Reporting From Comic-Con: Keanu Reeves’ Comic BRZRKR Is Getting It’s Own Movie and TV Show On Netflix

Keanu Reeves joined Saturday’s BRZRKR panel at Comic Con today, and there was no shortage of huge reveals. Along with Keanu Reeves, other attendees were Matt Kindt, Ron Garney, Stephen Christy, Matt Gagnon, and Keith Clayton. All were present to discuss the character of B in the latest comic adventure, BRZRKR: The Lost Book of B, which will be released August 21st, 2024.

The entire group of creators were deeply grateful and excited to talk about the comic that they have all worked so hard on. Whether a writer or artist, each panelist’s pride was clear when they described the process and final product of BRZRKR. Keanu Reeves expressed his thoughts on the comic book, saying “It’s a great collaborative, inventive series”.

However, the upcoming comic wasn’t the only news today. Along with BRZRKR: The Lost Book of B, Keanu Reeves and China Mieville have just recently, as of July 23rd, released a book called The Book of Elsewhere, which is based in the BRZRKR world. The book was promised by the panelists to be “a page turning thriller’, with “great fights” and surprises.

And finally—and arguably most excitingly—members of the Comic Con panel officially announced both a BRZRKR movie and animated TV show. Both of these pieces of media will be created alongside Netflix, with Mattson Tomlin as screenwriter for the series.

On a separate note, at the end of the panel, Keanu Reeves was awarded the “Inkpot Award” for Comic Con International, 2024. The award was presented as recognition for influence in pop culture for storytelling, which Keanu Reeves definitely fits with his work in film, comics, and novels.
