‘Reminders Of Him’ Actor, Tyriq Withers, To Star In New Romantic Movie

Tyriq Withers (Him) is set to star in new romantic comedy titled, Love Love. The movie is to be written by Joey Power (Love Language) and Daniel Sweren-Becker (Blow the Man Down).

Along with Withers, Isabel May (1883) will star in the movie, having previously worked with Power on Love Language. According to the IMDb page of Love Love, the movie is set to follow a tennis player who falls in love with a ball boy. There is no other current casting information at this time.

This would not be Withers’ first romance film, starring in Reminders of Him, a romance-drama about a woman who wants to reconnect with her child after leaving prison. The movie is based off a Collen Hoover novel of the same name, and released in theaters early March of this year. Similar to Withers, this is not Power’s first romance film.

In early March, Power debuted Love Language, romantic comedy starring Chloe Grace Moretz (Kick-Ass), at the SXSW film festival in Austin, Texas. In a interview with Deadline, Powers said, “I wanted to make a rom-com, that you know, was like, a modern version of the ones I grew up watching like from the 70’s, 80’s, and  90’s…something that felt human an ‘pop-corny’ at the same time.”
