According to Deadline, Gundpowder & Sky has set a release date of June 30th for The Little Hours.

Alison Brie (A Family Man), Aubrey Plaza (FX’s Legion) and Kate Micucci (The LEGO Batman Movie) play three nuns in a dysfunctional convent whose lives fall into further upheaval with the arrival of a young servant boy (Dave Franco) seeking refuge from his master. John C. Reilly (Kong: Skull Island), Molly Shannon (Miles), Fred Armisen (TV’s Portlandia), Jemima Kirke (Ava’s Possessions), Nick Offerman (The Founder) and Adam Pally (Don’t Think Twice) are also in the cast.

Director Jeff Baena (Joshy) wrote the screenplay, loosely based on Giovanni Boccaccio’s 14th century work, The Decameron, which contains 100 tales of love ranging from the erotic to the tragic. Liz Destro and Plaza are producing.

The Little Hours premiered at Sundance’s Midnight section in January.
