Release Date Set for ‘Miss Sloane’

A release date of December 9th has been set for EuropaCorp and FilmNation’s political drama Miss Sloane starring twice-Oscar nominated actress Jessica Chastain (The Huntsman: Winter’s War).

Helmed by John Madden (Shakespeare in Love) from Jonathan Perera’s original screenplay, the film centers on an ambitious lobbyist (Chastain) who risks her career spearheading efforts to pass stricter gun-control legislation. The story exposes the cutthroat world of Washington D.C strategists on both sides of the gun control debate. Also in the cast are Mark Strong (Kingsman: The Secret Service), Gugu Mbatha-Raw (Concussion), Michael Stuhlbarg (Trumbo), Alison Pill (Hail, Caesar!), Jake Lacy (Carol), and Oscar-nominated actor Sam Waterston (Netflix’s Grace and Frankie).

Miss Sloane will open against Stacy Title’s horror film The Bye Bye Man, Josh Gordon and Will Speck’s comedy Office Christmas Party, and Asghar Farhadi’s thriller The Salesman.
