DC Comics is gearing up to release the first-ever R-rated Justice League movie at this year’s San Diego Comic-Con titled Justice League: Warworld.
The animated film will have its world premiere at 9 p.m. on Friday, July 21 at Comic-Con’s Ballroom 20. There will also be a cast and filmmaker panel after to discuss the film and its making. Although fans’ pleas for this kind of DC film in live-action haven’t quite reached the production stage yet, the hype for Justice League: Warworld seems to be high, with fans very excited for this type of Justice League film alongside an amazing cast.
Warner Bros. describes the film as a visit by the superheroes to “a place of unending brutal gladiatorial combat… Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, and the others must somehow unite to form an unbeatable resistance able to lead an entire planet to freedom.”
