
Cult classic legacy sequel Practical Magic 2 is the film that finally breaks Spider-Man’s six week record setting dominace. Despite only netting 30 million Practical Magic 2, dethroned Spider-Man Brand New Day, which dropped to 8.4 million in its seventh week. The Odyssey stayed in the top three with 7.4 million in its ninth week.
Newcomer Runner premiered with 6.67 million taking fourth, just beating Coyote Vs. Acme which saw 6.23 million for its third week, landing in fifth. Buddy caught 3.5 million for its third week to secure sixth place.
Insidious brought in 3.35 million in its fourth week, dropping down to seventh. Another newcomer to the top ten was Hope, which brought in 3.3 million and took eighth place, beating its fellow and final newcomer to the list The Uprising which bombed with 3.25 million down in ninth place. Tenth went to By Any Means in its second week with 2.5 million.
