Patrick Wilson and Vera Farmiga to Reprise ‘Conjuring’ Roles in ‘Annabelle 3’

After creating two additional series titles from the successful Conjuring Universe (Annabelle and The Nun), Patrick Wilson and Vera Farmiga are finally reprising their Ed and Lorraine Warren characters in one of the spin-off films. Although the couple will play a complimentary role to the leads of the film, audiences will get to see the duo in a relational film of the same universe.

Coming full circle in the third installment of the Annabelle series, audiences will get to see the transition from the first film of the demonic doll to the events that are briefly revealed in the first Conjuring film. The yet-to-be-titled Annabelle film is the third in the series. The second film, Annabelle: Creation, is a prequel to the events that take place in the first.

Deadline confirms that Annabelle 3 will take place in the Warren home after bringing the doll to their artifacts room so that it can cause no more mayhem. There, the doll has other ideas and zeros in on the Warren’s daughter Judy, her cousin and a friend. Judy will be played by Mckenna Grace while Katie Sarife and Madison Iseman will portray the other leads who battle the evil within the doll.

The other films in the Conjuring Universe have had phenomenal success. Hoping to cash in on some of that victory, writer Gary Dauberman, will be making his directorial debut. Dauberman will be joined by Michael Clear and Michelle Morrissey as the film’s producers.

This third untitled Annabelle project begins filming this week and is set to release to theaters on July 3, 2019.

Aspiring to be an author who is trying to split my family life from my work life is tough but I hope to do so in equal parts for a happy medium. I am new to the business of writing and editing, but I am confident in my skills. My husband and I have been married for 15 years and we have two beautiful daughters. My youngest daughter battles epilepsy so I am her advocate in several ways. One way in particular is that I am currently writing a children's book that lets other children with disabilities know that they are not alone. Last fun fact is that our family is also proud fur parents to three rescue chi-mix dogs.
