Jennifer Lopez, in a lovely, shimmery dress, and Chris Evans, announce winners for production design team- Hannah Beachler and Jay Hart, for Black Panther. Beachler was the first African-American to be nominated in this category.

Tyler Perry announces achievement in cinematography. The Oscar goes to Alfonso Cuaron.

Emilia Clarke, all classy, jokes about Khaleesi and RBG borrowing her dragons. She welcomes Jennifer Hudson to perform.

Jennifer Hudson’s conservative attire, along with the austere background, is perfect for her tribute to RBG.

Serena Williams remarks on making dreams come true.

Achievement in Sound Editing goes to Bohemian Rhapsody‘s John Warhurst and Nina Hartstone.

Achievement for Sound Mixing goes to Bohemian Rhapsody‘s Paul Massey, Tim Cavagin, and John Casali. First Oscars win for this team!

Queen Latifah introduces another nominee for Best Picture, The Favourite.

The Academy Award for Achievement in Film Editing is John Ottman’s from Bohemian Rhapsody.

Supporting Actor for Mahershala Ali! It is his second Oscar. First Award was also in this category for Moonlight.

Laura Dern, in her simple dress paired with a stunning necklace, talks about the New Academy Museum of Motion Pictures, currently under construction.

Best Animated Feature Film goes to Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse. 

Awkwafina and John Mulaney very amusingly share it is their first time at the Academy Awards. They present Best Animated Short which is “Bao”. Director, Domee Shi, encourages nerdy girls who hide behind their sketchbooks to step out of their shells and share their creativity.

Period. End of Sentence wins Best Documentary Short.

Paul Rudd and Sarah Paulson announce who wins the Academy Award for Visual Effects: First Man.

Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper performed Shallow in a touching performance.

Skin wins best live-action short! The delighted crew excitedly accepts the award.

Brie Larson is decked out in a spectacular silver dress. She helps announce the Award for Original Screenplay. It goes to Green Book.

Best Adapted Screenplay goes to BlacKkKlansman. Spike Lee gleefully jumps on-stage. He mentions the Presidential Election of 2020 and asks all to do the right thing.

Tessa Thompson and Michael B. Jordan are up to say who wins Original Score. The Oscar goes to Ludwig Goransson in Black Panther. 

Constance Wu, in a yellow dress, and Chadwick Boseman, in a sparkly suit, show on-stage for Best Original Song. The Oscar goes to “Shallow” from A Star is Born. Lady Gaga tearfully says she worked hard for a long time. She says it is not about giving up and how many times you get rejected. It’s about how many times you stand up and get back going.

Barbara Streisand, about BlacKkKlansman, says “truth is especially precious these days”. And she easily conversed with Spike Lee over their love of hats and shared childhood in Brooklyn.

Best Actor goes to Rami Malek who is earning his first Oscar. He speaks to people who are struggling with identity and finding their voice.

Congressman, John Lewis, is present to announce the final nominee for Best Picture, Green Book. He gives tribute to people, African-American people, in the past killed for trying to live lives of dignity.

Best Actress goes to Olivia Colman. This is her first Oscar and nomination. She calls Glenn Close her idol!

Guillermo Del Toro says he didn’t peek at who won Best Director.

The Oscar goes to Alfonso Cuaron! This is his second win tonight.

Julia Roberts will present the winner for Best Picture.

Best Picture goes to…Green Book.
