Screenwriter and producer James Ivory, who recently took home the Oscar for Best Adapted Screenplay for Call Me By Your Name, has joined the cast of the drama Dance Again With Me Heywood! as the narrator.
The magical, fairytale-like film tells the story of a man – played by Italian actor Giorgio Arcelli Fontana – who befriends a young woman (Ottavia Orticello) in New York. The young woman also suffers from Moon’s Butterfly Syndrome, a disease that renders anyone who has it invisible to everyone except other carriers. Michele Dioma is directing the English-language film.
Ivory is also executive producing two upcoming films: Roselli and The Aspern Papers. He turns 90 this June.
Dance Again With Me Heywood! is set to be released in November of this year.
