Fans finally get a look at their newest Superman and the suit he will be wearing in James Gunn’s Superman. Revealed on Gunn’s official social media accounts on sites such as Instagram, the post shows a photo of actor David Corenswet putting on Superman’s boots in a while in the backdrop of what looks to be Metropolis.

The last time something related to Superman’s official look was posted back on February 29, with Gunn revealing the Superman logo and announcing that the film’s name was changed to just Superman rather than continuing with Superman: Legacy.
According to ComicBook.com, the film’s main plot will be Superman’s journey reconciling his Kryptonian heritage with how he grew up in Smallville, Kansas as Clark Kent.
The cast of the film has also been revealed and is the following:
Rachel Brosnahan (The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel) as Lois Lane
Skyler Gisondo (Booksmart) as Jimmy Olsen
Wendell Pierce (The Wire) as Perry White
Sara Sampaio (At Midnight) as Eve Teschmacher
Terence Rosemore (Haunted Mansion) as Otis
María Gabriela de Faría (Animal Control) as Angela Spica / The Engineer
Isabela Merced (Madame Web) as Kendra Saunders / Hawkgirl
Nathan Fillion (The Rookie) as Guy Gardner
Edi Gathegi (For All Mankind) as Michael Holt / Mr. Terrific
Anthony Carrigan (Barry and Fatherhood) as Rex Mason / Metamorpho
Nicholas Fillion (The Garfield Movie and Renfield) as Lex Luthor
In an interview earlier this year, ComicBook.com highlighted that Brosnahan mentioned that the project is collaborative, working closely with Corenswet and Gunn. “We’ve been talking a lot about where this project fits into the canon of the Supermans that we know. So hopefully, this’ll be… we’ll be putting our own stamp on things.”
Superman is currently in production and is set to release on July 11, 2025.
