Nicole Kidman On Her Role In ‘Babygirl’

Nicole Kidman has done it once again! The acclaimed actress, who has been in Hollywood for many decades, has earned her 17th Golden Globe acting nomination. It’s for her performance in Babygirl, an A24 psycho-sexual thriller.

In the film, Kidman takes on the role of Romy, a powerful CEO who risks her career and family for a forbidden affair with a younger intern, played by the captivating Harris Dickinson. The film appears steamy and unpredictable, with a mixture of tension and humor. Kidman’s role in this film has already earned her recognition from the Venice Film Festival and The National Board of Review.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Kidman shared that to be relevant in this industry, working on films she loves feels wonderful. Fans can see exactly what she means; every role she plays charms her audiences. She has had stellar performances in films such as Far and Away (1992), To Die For (1995), Batman Forever (1995), Practical Magic (1998), and Eyes Wide Shut (1999).

Her career spans over three decades, and has been ranked among the world’s highest-paid actresses since the late 1990s. Her latest nomination is a testament to her amazing talent. She certainly loves what she does! 

At 57, Kidman remains one of the busiest and desired actresses in the film industry. She has recently been in many projects, including Netflix’s The Perfect Couple, Paramount+’s Special Ops: Lioness, and the upcoming Prime Video series Expats. However, it is Babygirl that has allowed her the chance to explore a very complex character.
