Ridley Scott’s (Gladiator) epic Exodus: Gods and Kings has a new trailer and it depicts all of the high-action scenes of biblical Egypt that the Exodus is known for. Christian Bale’s (The Fighter) Moses and Joel Edgerton’s (The Great Gatsby) Ramses are shown facing off, both face to face and at the heads of their respective armies, as the Jewish people fight to gain their freedom amidst the plagues of Egypt and the rage of a wrathful pharoah. The trailer also offers up a closer view of Moses’ persona, both before he left Egypt as a prince and brother of the future pharoah, and as the leader of his people, whipping them into a battle frenzy and carving what could be the famous stone tablets of the Commandments. The first trailers for the film can be viewed here and here. Exodus: Gods and Kings will be released on December 12th.
