New Trailer Drops for ‘The Adam Project’ from Netflix, Starring Ryan Reynolds

The official trailer for Netflix’s upcoming sci-fi flick The Adam Project, starring Ryan Reynolds, has been released today. After the previously released teaser, this full-length trailer gives audiences a fuller look at what to expect from the film: an inter-dimensional, time-traveling drama with no shortage of comedic relief.

The Adam Project follows a time-traveler named Adam Reed, played by Reynolds, who travels back in time where he meets his younger self, played by Walker Scobell, and his late father, played by Mark Ruffalo. Reed must work with his younger self to make peace with his past and save the future, all while evading and fighting mysterious soldiers.

The trailer teases plenty of action with a beautifully shot forest car chase and hand-to-hand combat between Reed and the futuristic soldiers in his pursuit. However, the film seems to have plenty of heart in addition to the action, especially when it comes to some tender moments between old and young Reed and their father.

Shawn Levy helms the film as director and returns to collaborate with Reynolds after their massively successful Free Guy in 2021. The pair are also both returning to the Netflix fold; Levy is known for his work on Stranger Things, the global phenomenon returning this summer, while Reynolds has worked on 6 Underground and Red Notice for the streamer.

The script was penned by Jonathan Tropper, T.S. Nowlin, Jennifer Flackett, Mark Levin, and stars Jennifer Garner, Zoe Saldana, and Catherine Keener.

The Adam Project releases on Netflix on March 11. Watch the trailer below:
