The official teaser trailer for Final Destination Bloodlines has been released. It places the audience in the shop of a body modification artist (someone who does both tattoos and piercings), and after his last client leaves, a series of random events lead up to his death, which reflects the type of sequence that has become synonymous with the Final Destination franchise.

The teaser, released on the official Warner Bros. YouTube channel, has already garnered 13.9 million views. According to the description, the film follows a college student, Stefanie, as she attempts to track down the one person who could break the cycle of death. The description also offers up this wonderful tagline: “If you screw with Death’s plans, things can get very… messy.”

Final Destination Bloodlines stars Kaitlyn Santa Juana, Teo Briones, Richard Harmon, Owen Patrick Joyner, Rya Kihlstedt, Anna Lore, Brec Bassinger, and the late Tony Todd. The film is directed by Adam Stein and Zach Lipovsky. Jon Watts, Guy Busick, and Lori Evans Taylor developed the story.

After seeing this teaser, fans of the franchise are surely excited for this upcoming installment after 14 years of waiting. The film is set to be released only in theaters on May 16th.
