Tickets for Disney and Sony’s Spider-Man: Brand New Day have just been released for purchase online, and a new trailer has debuted alongside it. The trailer, released Wednesday, sees the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s (MCU) Spider-Man, played by Tom Holland, after the fallout of the 2021 “multiverse” tale Spider-Man: No Way Home, in which his dual identity as the web-slinger and college student Peter Parker were severed.

“I’m losing my mind,” Parker says in the trailer as he is shown undergoing a strange transformation that includes enhanced eye pupils and increased strength. “I am totally out of control,” he finishes. Parker is later seen speaking with Professor Bruce Banner (Mark Ruffalo), known also in MCU as the Hulk, in hopes of receiving answers or a fix to his confusing mutation.

Zendaya as Michelle ‘MJ’ Jones-Watson

Unknown character (Rumored to be Sadie Sink)
Later in the trailer, Spider-Man goes up against a threat to the city that is “uncontrollable” and invisible. The New York-native hero must use his unique “spider sense” to aid him in navigating against what is wreaking havoc in the city. Also appearing in the trailer are Zendaya’s MJ and Jacob Batalon’s Ned Leeds, two of Peter Parker’s best friends that have forgotten his identity due to the events of No Way Home but are nonetheless wrapped up in Spider-Man’s tangled web of crime and search for community. Jon Bernthal’s Punisher character, Frank Castle, is also seen making his transition from TV to film as he fights alongside Spider-Man. Sadie Sink, who was also announced to be in the cast, has still yet to make a trailer appearance.

The trailer also shows a montage of Peter trying to save MJ from an unidentified threat by bringing her to Frank, experiencing some weird Spider-side effects, and fighting The Hand, a group of assassins that are hunting Spider-Man. All while being accompanied by May’s voice saying, “This whole thing can get really scary but the people who love you, love you because you’re you. Never forget that.”
