Actors Ansel Elgort (The Fault in Our Stars) and Chloë Grace Moretz (The 5th Wave) will be starring together in the upcoming film, November Animals. Good news for their fans: the trailer has just been placed online. The film, which is described as a murder mystery, centers itself around the death of a seventeen year-old high school student, who is friends with Moretz and Elgort’s characters. Though authorities believe that their friend died due to gang violence, the teenagers are not convinced and so they decide to investigate. In the process of unveiling the culprit, the film links Moretz and Elgort’s characters together so they can determine the cause of the victim’s killing. Though his character is more reckless in his grief, her character seems to keep them more grounded despite the chaos of their lives.
The film will also feature David Strathairn (The Second Best Exotic Marigold Hotel), Cory Hardrict (All Eyez on Me) and Catherine Keener (Get Out).
Directed Sacha Gervasi (Hitchcock), the movie gathers its source material from a book by Sam Munson. Gervasi also created the script for the adaptation, along with partner Stephen Knight (Peaky Blinders).

Interestingly enough, the film’s release will be in the form of a digital copy on November 7th of this year. However, if audiences prefer to see movies on the big screen, November Animals will arrive in theaters a month later on December 8th.
