New ‘Justice League’ Poster Lands Ahead of Saturday’s Trailer Premiere

Bold. Dramatic. Heroic.

Ahead of Saturday’s Today show exclusive premiere of the new full length trailer, Warner Bros. has released the first teaser poster for their upcoming tentpole DC universe juggernaut, Justice League.

The poster itself follows in the long tradition of superhero teaser posters simply showing off the hero or team’s logo or symbol. Promised by the poster’s tagline, the film will unite six of DC Comics’ heavy hitters on the big screen for the very first time, including Henry Cavill‘s Superman, Ben Affleck‘s Batman, Gal Gadot‘s Wonder Woman, Ezra Miller‘s The Flash, Ray Fisher’s Cyborg, and Jason Momoa‘s Aquaman.

After the events of Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice, the film will follow Bruce Wayne and Diana Prince (Batman and Wonder Woman) as they set out in a globetrotting journey in the hopes of recruiting powerful individuals to form a team, a kind of “justice league” if you will, strong enough to stop an impending other-worldly evil force from destroying the world. These hopeful members include an Atlantean strongman, a young hyper-kinetic fast talker, and a student-athlete turned alien cyborg.

Directed by WB studio favorite Zack Snyder, Justice League is set to rock the box office on November 10th, five months after Warner Brother’s other 2017 superhero outing, Wonder Woman, out June 2nd.

Austin Allison: Born and raised in Tucson, AZ, I have been obsessed with cartoons, animation, and film in general for as long as I've known how to talk and draw. From Disney animation to indie movies, filmmaking was always the purest form of art to me. I majored in Film and Television Studies and minored in Studio Art at the University of Arizona. The greatest aspect of studying film was developing a creative and critical eye for a medium that I had loved for so long, but couldn't explain why I loved it until now.
