Undergods, a new film releasing today, May 7, has released a new clip allowing viewers to get a taste of the post-apocalyptic sci-fi from director Chino Moya. The film follows K and Z, two men who roam the streets looking for corpses and fresh meat, the latter of which is extremely valuable.
The clip shows us K and Z as they scour the streets of an abandoned city in search of bodies. The sequence, which is backed by a futuristic synth score, ends with a shot of a pile of corpses.
The film stars The Witch and Game of Thrones actress Kate Dickie, Mandy and Peaky Blinders‘ Ned Dennehy, Geza Rohrig of Resistance and Son of Saul, Pacific Rim and Enola Holmes‘ Burn Gorman and Emma and Sex Education actress Tanya Reynolds. The film marks Chino Moya’s feature-length directorial debut, who previously has directed music videos for St. Vincent, Marina and the Diamonds, Hurts and Years & Years.
The film is being produced by Scott Free Productions, a production company known for films like Denis Villeneuve‘s Blade Runner 2049, the 2015 Matt Damon-led sci-fi adventure The Martian and Ridley Scott‘s Gladiator. Undergods is currently available in theaters and on demand.
