Earlier this year it was reported that comedian Adam Sandler and his production company Happy Gilmore signed a four movie deal with the steaming service Netflix. This agreement came after Sandler finished his 6 movie deal with Netflix. The first movie in this deal was called The Wrong Missy. It is a romantic comedy that starred comedian David Spade. The second movie to come from this arrangement was the recently released Halloween themed comedy movie, Hubie Halloween, which starred Sandler hisself along with Kevin James.
According to Screen Rant the third movie from the Happy Gilmore and Netflix deal will be called Hustle, and Sandler will once again be starring in it in a leading role. Sandler’s will be playing a basketball scout who’s career hits a rough patch, at least until he discovers an amazing player with a troubling past.
Hustle will be directed by Jeremiah Zagar, who is best known for directing documentaries and directing the 2018 film We the Animals. Besides Sandler the cast of Hustle will include awarding winning actor Robert Duvall, actor Ben Foster, and actress Queen Latifah. Currently at this time it is unknown what exact roles Duvall, Foster, and Latifah will be playing in the upcoming movie.
