

Netflix rolled out some updates on a variety of the streamer’s upcoming 2026 film and television slate today. Among the highlights were images of Millie Bobbie Brown and Louis Partridge returning for Enola Holmes 3 and John Cena and Eric Andre in new comedy Little Brother. They also released a “What Next?” video linked here which gave fans a sneak peak into upcoming projects such as One Piece season 2, releasing March 10, 2026, and Peaky Blinders: The Immortal Man, releasing March 6, 2026.
Millie Bobbie Brown will reprise her role as the daughter of Sherlock Holmes this summer, fresh off of the finale of Stranger Things for Netflix. The third installment will have a new director with Phillip Barantini taking over for Harry Bradbeer, but the cast will see less turnover with Henry Cavill, Louis Partridge, Himesh Patel, and Sharon Duncan-Brewster all returning. Barantini is hot off of directing the critically acclaimed limited series Adolescence for Netflix. The image from Little Brother highlights John Cena as a famous real estate agent who is caught off guard by the return of his little brother, played by Eric Andre. The film is directed by Matt Spicer and will be released in late 2026 and also stars Michelle Monaghan, Christopher Meloni, and Ego Nwodim.
Director Olivia Newman’s upcoming film Remarkably Bright Creatures got a May 8 release date on the streamer, adapting Shelby Van Pelt’s popular 2022 novel. Sally Field will star and form an unlikely alliance with a giant Octopus, who will lead her on a mission where she will find and connect with fellow star Lewis Pullman.
Director Tyler Perry’s upcoming film Joe’s College Road Trip will hit Netflix on February 13 and reside in the world of the Madea franchise. Tyler Perry will return to the role of Joe/Brian and take Brian Jr., played by Jermaine Harris, on a college tour.
War Machine is another film that got dated for March 6, with the film focusing on an Army Ranger squad coming face to face with an exuberant threat. Patrick Hughes directed the project which stars Alan Ritchson, Dennis Quaid, Stephan James, Jai Courtney, and Esai Morales.
Nathan Greno’s the director behind Netflix upcoming animated feature Swapped, which just added Tracy Morgan and Cedric the Entertainer to the voice cast. Michael B. Jordan and Juno Temple will star as a small woodland creature and a majestic bird who swap bodies, and become forced to undertake an impossible journey to save their homes.
