As of today, Netflix is the only streaming service where fans can watch Marvel’s 2018 blockbuster, Avengers: Infinity War. This won’t be the case for long, though, as the company plans on doing an Infinity-Gauntlet snap on the film, as they plan on removing it from the platform on June 24, per Inverse.com. After June 24th, Infinity War and all of the other content still on Netflix that is owned by Disney, will be gradually moved to Disney’s streaming service, Disney+.
This is the last chance Netflix users will have to see the ground-breaking movie, an inter-planetary battle in which basically every hero from the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s prior films team up to battle the mad titan Thanos, who is hell-bent on acquiring the six Infinity Stones in ploy to destroy a half of each universe he encounters, without having to pay for a Disney+ subscription. Upon its US release on April 27, 2018, the film set a then-record by amassing $640.5 million at the box office in its first weekend, a number only to be surpassed by its 2019 sequel, Avengers: Endgame, which is already available on Disney +. Overall, the film garnered an astounding $2 billion-plus at the box office.
Among the other Disney films leaving Netflix in the upcoming weeks include The Incredibles 2, Ant-Man and the Wasp, Solo: A Star Wars Story, and more.
