Netflix Drops First Trailer For Sci-Fi Adventure ‘The Electric State’ Starring Millie Bobby Brown

The first trailer for Netflix’s new film The Electric State has just dropped. Joe and Anthony Russo (Infinity War and Avengers Endgame) directed the sci-fi adventure. The movie is adapted from the novel of the same name by Simon Stålenhag and is set in an alternate universe of the year 1997 where robots and humans coexist. The movie centers on Michelle (Millie Bobby Brown), who goes on a journey to find her brother with the help of a robot. Alongside Millie Bobby Brown, the cast is composed of Chris Pratt, Ke Huy Quan, Stanley Tucci, Giancarlo Esposito joined by the voices of Brian Cox, Jenny Slate, Billy Bob Thornton, Jason Alexander, Alan Tudyk, and Woody Harrelson. 

With the arrival of the first trailer, the premise of the movie is now revealed. The world and the lead character, Michelle, has been established and her adventure has begun. We see her joining forces with robot Keats which will be helping her on the way. 

The Electric State is now the Russo Brothers’ second piece of work for Netflix, the first being Ryan Gosling and Chris Evans’ led The Gray Man which proved to be a success for them. 

The Electric State is set to release via Netflix on March 14, 2025.
