Netflix Delightfully Surprises With Lowkey Sci-Fi Release

With a score of 80% on Rotten Tomatoes, Netflix’s, It’s What’s Inside, was a pleasant surprise to the platform’s users last week.

Director Greg Jardin’s sci-fi thriller and debut feature film was previously in the lineup at the 2024 Sundance Film Festival this past January before hitting Netflix.

It’s What’s Inside centers on a friend group who gather before a wedding at a party. One of the friends, who had been estranged for a while, brings a game that causes its players to switch bodies. The decision to play the game leads to an interesting and terrifying night that tests the friend group’s relationship.

The cast lineup includes Brittany O’Grady, Gavin Leatherwood, James Morosini, Nina Bloomgarden, Alycia Debman-Carey, Reina Hardesty, Devon Terrell, David W. Thompson, and Madison Davenport.

It’s What’s Inside is currently charting on the “Top 10 movies in the U.S. Today” on Netflix, sitting at number 5. The film is already being received well by the public, unlike many other movies in the market right now.

The movie will leave viewers contemplating the ending and asking for more. According to Variety, Jardin is even open to doing a sequel. It’s What’s Inside now streaming on Netflix.
