‘My Policeman’ Releases Teaser Trailer

Amazon Studios’ upcoming feature My Policeman has just released its official teaser trailer. Directed by Michael Grandage, My Policeman is an adaption of the 2012 novel by Bethan Roberts. The story takes place in the 1950s, telling the story of a closeted gay man in a marriage to a woman who is navigating a newfound attraction to an older man. This love triangle drama is a tale that delves into the crevices of sexuality and queer power.

Harry Styles stars as Tom Burgess alongside Emma Corrin who plays his wife Marion Tayler.  You may recognize Corrin from her performance as Princess Diana in the latest season of The Crown. David Dawson stars alongside them who is best known for his role in the popular television drama Peaky Blinders.

Most people have heard Harry Styles’ name by now, though not commonly in an acting capacity. This is one of two films that are coming up for Styles, the second being Olivia Wilde’s Don’t Worry Darling. Styles also starred in a supporting role in Christopher Nolan’s 2017 war flick Dunkirk.

My Policeman is rated R and is scheduled to be released on October 21 of this year in select theaters.
