Kevin Feige Confirms Ms. Marvel, She-Hulk, and Moon Knight Disney+ Shows Will Join MCU

With the launch of Disney’s new streaming service Disney+ will come the introduction of Marvel comics characters Ms. Marvel (MCU’s first Muslim hero), She-Hulk, and Moon Knight into the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The three super heroes will reportedly get their own respective TV shows on the platform, according to The Hollywood Reporter. Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige has additionally confirmed the three characters will appear in following MCU films.

The news for these three programs, all being developed by Feige, comes alongside the launch of Disney+, which will produce tie-in shows featuring the MCU cast. This follows the release of Spiderman: Far From Home in July, concluding the Infinity Saga era of the MCU’s first three phases.

Ms. Marvel, She-Hulk, and Moon Knight’s Disney+ shows will join Phase Four, which will begin with the release of Black Widow on May 1, 2020. As Feige stated on Hollywood Reporter’s podcast, the MCU’s content released through Disney+ will additionally be included in movie narratives, introducing characters within the shows before moving them to the movies. Basically, in order to understand everything in future Marvel films, you’ll need a Disney+ subscription.

Ms. Marvel will be headed by Bisha K. Ali (Four Weddings and a Funeral), Jessica Gao (Rick and Morty) will run She-Hulk, and Jeremy Slater (Umbrella Academy) will take Moon Knight. No release dates for the shows or films have been announced as of yet.
