A new trailer for Moana 2 has been released and it looks promising. The sequel will pick up three years after the original, following the Polynesian heroine and her family of Montunui.
The trailer opens with Moana returning home from a three-day sea journey, where she is wholesomely greeted by her family—especially her younger sister, Simea, the young girl seems just as adventurous as Moana herself. As the trailer unfolds, we learn that Moana has discovered an object connected to an ancient island and some new gods. With a compelling message from her ancestors, Moana embarks on a new journey to lift a curse and reconnect with these people.
Fans will be thrilled to know that the powerful demigod Maui is back to help Moana. Their dynamic is sure to bring plenty of action and laughs, and we even catch glimpses of them battling monsters and gods along the way.
