In the spy thriller saga of Ethan Hunt, it seems that Tom Cruise wants to try hair-brained stunts that would make the Jackass crew blush. The newly-released teaser for the next installment of the Mission: Impossible franchise promises audiences more of the pulse-pounding, blood-pumping excitement of the previous installments.
Dead Reckoning Part I marks another Mission: Impossible film helmed by director Christopher McQuarrie, who also directed Fallout and Rogue Nation. With Cruise and McQuarrie at the helm, the film sure is set to break open our expectations of how the action films are supposed to be made. From what the teaser trailer shows us, this is going to be a globetrotting film with practical set pieces and car chases. There’s a runaway train going off the tracks, a train-top knife fight, and Tom Cruise jumping off of a motorcycle while going over a cliff. Which begs the question, what could possibly be next for Ethan Hunt?
