Avengers: Infinity War, Part One is only a few short, agonizing months away, and more details are emerging about the massive scope of this epic superhero team-up. The Avengers movies haven’t been shy about adding new characters to the fray in each subsequent movie (including the Avengers-lite Captain America: Civil War), so it may not surprise anyone that this latest blockbuster will cram in even more characters from the ever-expanding Marvel cinematic universe.

During a recent interview with the Toronto Sun, Chris Hemsworth provided an estimate on the size of the cast while promoting his upcoming film, 12 Strong, saying that “[Infinity War] is one of the biggest things in film history and to be a part of it was just incredible. I think what these characters are about to face—with Thanos—there’s been nothing quite like it.” He’s not kidding—in fact, Hemsworth goes on to add that the film features around seventy-six actors. According to an earlier interview with Scarlett Johansson, thirty-two of the cast members were all present together for one scene!

While it will clearly be a struggle to give everyone some meaningful screen time during the battle with Thanos, Hemsworth thinks that the Russo brothers will deliver an experience that will please Marvel fans.

Avengers: Infinity War arrives in theaters on May 4th, 2018.
