Michael B. Jordan is an Action Hero in Amazon’s ‘Without Remorse’ Trailer

Michael B. Jordan showcases his action hero chops in the trailer to Amazon Prime Video’s Without Remorse, which dropped on March 3rd. Jordan plays the role of Navy SEAL Senior Chief John Kelly in the adaptation of Tom Clancy’s 1993 novel of the same title. Originally project at Paramount Pictures, Without Remorse was sold to Amazon sometime during the pandemic.  The film, directed by Stefano Sollima (Sicario: Day of the Soldado, Gomorrah), teases a late April release on Amazon’s streaming platform.

Jordan, no stranger to the action genre (Black Panther, Creed) stars in the film alongside Jodie Turner-Smith and Jamie Bell, all of whom function as key players in highly covert, military mission. Without Remorse’s ensemble cast includes: Guy Pearce, Lauren London, Brett Gelman, Jacob Scipio, Jack Kesy, Colman Domingo, Todd Lassance, Cam Gigandet, and Luke Mitchell.

The adapted screenplay is written by Will Staples and Taylor Sheridan (Sicario: Day of the Soldado, Hell or High Water, Yellowstone) and tells story of revenge at the hands of John Kelly, who also goes by the alias John Clark. Without Remorse functions as Kelly’s origin story as he is a popular character in the Jack Ryan universe. The tale begins when Kelly seeks revenge on the Russian soldiers who murdered his pregnant wife. In pursuit, he stumbles upon a much more twisted and sinister plot that threatens the U.S. and Russia alike. With the help of a fellow Navy SEAL (Turner-Smith) and CIA agent (Bell), Kelly must uncover the truth behind the conspiracy and put a stop to the global threat, but will his personal goal of retribution get in the way of saving the world from disaster?
