The continuation of The Batman is finally gearing up to move forward with production, after a series of delays and setbacks. Director Matt Reeves even gave an update on the script that is bound to excite fans for the next adventure of the caped crusader.
As of now, there’s no official plot synopsis for The Batman: Part II. Presumably, the film will pick up where The Batman left off, which saw Bats himself save the civilians of Gotham City from The Riddlers attempts to destroy it. Many are speculating just who Batman could be going up against in the second film, and what challenges he’ll have to overcome.
While unclear for the present, Reeves confirmed that both he and screenwriter Mattson Tomlin are very happy with the finished script. He also confirmed to Variety that the script is under very tight security, quite literally, with it being stored in a secure folder protected by lock and password.
Screenrant even noted that Tomlin and Reeves aren’t the only ones who have seen the scripts with Robert Pattinson himself even reading through it.
“Rob was super excited, I feel really excited about the idea that it’s gonna be, that we feel like we can reach farther and do even more than we did in the first one,” Reeves said.
