Night School, the newest Kevin Hart comedy, continues to gain steam by consistently adding additional actors and actresses almost every week since the beginning of September. Currently Matilda Del Toro has officially joined the cast, according to Deadline. Moviegoers might know Del Toro from 2015’s Our Brand Is Crisis, where she worked alongside Billy Bob Thornton and beloved actress Sandra Bullock. Recently, Del Toro also starred in Exfil. It seems like her fans will have a lot to look forward to in this upcoming film as well!
Night School tells the story of a group of adult delinquents who are trying to advance their education. While none of them graduated high school, they intend to get their GED in order to create more opportunities for themselves. Hart stars in the film alongside a large supporting cast including Keith David (Mr. and Mrs. Smith, The Thing), Tiffany Haddish (Girls Trip, The Carmichael Show), Ben Schwartz (Parks and Recreation, Star Wars: The Force Awakens), Rob Riggle (The Hangover, 21 Jump Street), Owen Harn (Vice Principals, Into the Badlands), and Mary Lynn Rajskub (24, Little Miss Sunshine).
The film is being directed by Malcolm D. Lee, who also helmed the comedy hit Girls Trip and the hilarious comedy Undercover Brother, with a script written by Hart. Excited audiences won’t have to wait too much longer, as production is currently in process. Additionally, the film currently has a release date of September 28, 2018. We are excited to see what Hart and Lee can do with such a talented cast!
