Mayor of Kingstown and Hawkeye star Jeremy Renner shared new information about his accident on Instagram, stating he broke 32 bones in a snowplow accident on New Year’s Day in Nevada. Renner was hospitalized due to the injuries and underwent two surgeries the day after.
The actor is now home, and although it has been a rough start to the year, he remains upbeat. He took time to write a post on Instagram to share his gratitude to everyone who sent him messages and shared good wishes for his recovery.
The post includes a photo of Renner receiving physical therapy, was posted Saturday morning, and reads:
“Morning workouts, resolutions all changed this particular new years …. Spawned from tragedy for my entire family, and quickly focused into uniting actionable love … I want to thank EVERYONE for their messages and thoughtfulness for my family and I …. Much love and appreciation to you all…These 30 plus broken bones will mend, grow stronger, just like the love and bond with family and friends deepens…Love and blessings to you all”
