Marvel dropped a new The Marvels teaser trailer on Tuesday’s Good Morning America, and it looks fun. The film stars Brie Larson as Carol Danvers/Captain Marvel, Teyonah Parris as Monica Rambeau, and Iman Vellani as Kamala Khan. The latter two gained significance through the Disney+ series WandaVision and Ms. Marvel. From the teaser, it appears that the trio is uncontrollably teleporting with one another, forcing them to come together to try to understand the relationship between their powers.
In an interview promoting the film with Good Morning America, Brie Larson commented that the new film would expand on “some of the complexities of [her] character.” She continued, “The first one was the origin story of who she is. Now it’s digging into some of the complexities. That there is much more to her than that, that there are parts that are not so great about her. That we can see a hero as being a person that doesn’t make every right decision all the time.”
The trailer was also published through Marvel Studious’ official Twitter with the caption: “Teaming up changes e̶v̶e̶r̶y̶t̶h̶i̶n̶g̶ everyone.”
