Marvel Actor, Dave Bautisa, to be in Zack Snyder’s Netflix Project, ‘Army of the Dead’

Since his big debut in Guardians of the Galaxy, wrestler turned actor, Dave Bautisa, has been doing quite well with the various projects he has been attached. Now with Netflix becoming more prominent with making high profile releases, the Marvel actor is set to work with director Zack Snyder on a new Netflix film. The film is a zombie project known as Army of the Dead.

Army of the Dead takes place in Las Vegas where a team of mercenaries is hired to accomplish a heist during a zombie breakout. The film is directed by DC director, Zack Snyder, who is returning to his roots as a director creating a zombie film in the vein of his 2004 remake of Dawn of the Dead. Snyder and his wife, Deborah, are producing the project with Andrew Norman and Ori Marmur overseeing the Netflix film.

This is one of the many other projects in recent memory Bautisa has been a part of with him being in Avengers Endgame, along with being in upcoming films such as Stuber from Fox and Disney, My Spy from STX, and Denis Villenueve’s remake of Dune. Being a part of something like this, in a project premiering on Netflix by a director with a distinct style, will certainly help Bautisa’s ever-growing career as an actor.

Ryan Pineda: When it comes to film, animation, video games and other mediums, I can discuss for hours about how much on why certain films and animated media made me the person I am today. I adore the artistic merit that comes from a lot of pop-culture media and will definitely love to have a conversation about favorite movies any day! I have graduated in 2017 with a BA in Film and Television at the University of Arizona. Been passionate about writing about films due to always having an interesting outlook on the medium. Will always see a film and will definitely be sure to recommend it to someone that I know for a fact would love that movie. Not only that but will also give reasons for why I think that film did or did not work as a movie, and the same can go for other pieces of media like television, video games and especially animated projects.
