It appears that actor Mark Wahlberg (Transformers: Age of Extinction) will act in the upcoming film Instant Family. Produced by Paramount, the film revolves around Wahlberg’s character and his spouse, who adopt three foster kids together. After this new change, everyone involved must figure out how to adjust and adapt to their new family, whether they are motivated to do so or not.
It looks like lately, Wahlberg has been playing a lot of paternal roles. He has also starred as Cade Yeager, a father who must work with the Autobots to protect the Earth, in the last two Transformers films as well as the wild and rebellious biological father in Daddy’s Home. However, it seems like the drama for both films emerged outside of the big screen. Daddy’s Home was actually financed with money stolen from none other than the Malaysian government via an investment fund. Needless to say, this makes the poor reviews of Transformers: The Last Knight look like an absolute dream for Wahlberg.
Fans of Wahlberg will hopefully be catching a better break soon. Directed by none other than the man behind Daddy’s Home, Sean Anders, the film will enter production soon and Wahlberg should be on set by this time in 2018. Currently, there is no scheduled release date for the film.
