The upcoming Netflix movie, Good Sex, already starring Natalie Portman, has added Mark Ruffalo and Tucker Pillsbury (aka ROLE MODEL) to its cast. Written and directed by Lena Dunham, the romantic comedy is about a couple’s therapist who comes across two very different men as she ventures back into the dating world.

Dunham returns to New York for Good Sex. Also set in New York, her 2010s hit HBO series, Girls, followed four women navigating life in the big city after college. Now approaching her forties, Dunham’s film follows her lead character (Portman) of the same age, who becomes involved with a successful man in his fifties (Ruffalo) and a hipster in his twenties (Pillsbury).

The Oscar-nominated Ruffalo has starred in many movies of a similar genre, including, The Kids Are AlrightBegin Again, and 13 Going on 30. Pillsbury is a singer-songwriter, known as ROLE MODEL, who has put out two studio albums. This will be his acting debut.

Portman and Sophie Mas are producing for MountainA, alongside Dunham and Michael Cohen for Good Thing Going Productions. Tim Bevan and Michael Sledd are executive producing with Michaela Celella for MountainA.

Netflix is set to release another project of Dunham’s, a series entitled Too Much, on July 10.
