Marc Forster’s All I See Is You has been acquired by Open Road and is scheduled to be released wide on 2,500 screens August 4th.
Blake Lively stars as Gina, a blind woman who is completely dependent on her husband James (Jason Clarke) as she tries to navigate her way through life and the city of Bangkok where they live. After Gina recovers from a surgery that restores her sight, the couple begins to notice changes and start to discover disturbing details about themselves.
Yvonne Strahovski (TV’s Chuck), Danny Huston (21 Grams), Ahna O’Reilly (Fruitvale Station) and Wes Chatham (The Help) co-star. Along with directing, Forster also co-wrote the script with Sean Conway.
In a statement that was released Tuesday, Open Road CEO Tom Ortenberg said:
Since we worked together on the groundbreaking Monster’s Ball, I have been hoping to work with Marc Forster again – All I See Is You is a provocative thriller with a great cast, and Marc has made yet another terrific film.
Open Road films slate continues to grow with the addition of All I See Is You to a list that includes Miles Teller in Bleed for This (Nov. 18), Jamie Foxx and Michelle Monaghan in Sleepless (Feb. 24) and Awesomeness Films’ Before I Fall (April 7).
